Thank you Lol, I really appreciate the feedback. The first few posts are a bit rusty since I was trying to figure the whole thing out but I really hope it will go from strength-to-strength.
Your blog «Lightness of Being» is very catchy. The middle picture on top was a very interesting shot! I do hope to see more of your 365 project and good luck to your photography life 🙂
Thank you Joycelyn – that photo was taken in a market in Mozambique.

It was a pleasure meeting you on the Art Tour around JHB CBD today! Your blog is absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see the photos that you took today 🙂
Hi Andrea, thanks so much for the kind words. Good to meet you too and I hope you enjoy the pics.
Hi there,
I stumbled across your blog after looking up ‘autumn in Joburg’ to get some new ideas of where to take photos… got quite distracted (in a good way!) reading your other posts and looking at the stunning photos. I couldn’t believe it when I read the ‘things I learned from my mom’ – the pierogi sounded so familiar and then when I scrolled down I saw a photo and realised I know your mom 🙂 She used to work with my brother Darren and is good friends with him and his polish wife, Maggie. Small world hey 😉
Keep writing and taking photos – they’re really stunning!
Lisa
p.s. Please add the recipe for that amazing Polish ‘cheesecake’ your mom makes!!!
Hi Lisa – that is so bizarre! Hahaha, it is such a small world. My mom says hi and I will try send you the recipe. Thank you so much for the kind words about my photos.

Can I pls have phone numbers and address of Motion in Johannesburg.
Hi – unfortunately I don’t have any contact details for them and as I am sure you know they don’t seem to have any on the Internet. The only thing I can suggested is to phone directory services and see if they are listed. If you find please let me know so I can update this blog post and add it.
Gorgeous photos! I found your blog after recognizing myself in one of your photos! (The girl in the hat looking up at the gentlemen in the «all aboard» album). Unbearable Lightness of Being is perhaps my all time favorite book, so you were already catching my eye – and then I saw your work and was blown away! Congratulations on some truly beautiful art and good luck!
And do let me know if you have any other snaps of me!
Hi Christina – oh my goodness! This is so crazy. Please let me know if you want me to email it to you. The light conditions weren’t great in there so I didn’t take that many pics but I will see of there are any others. It is also my favorite book of all time and I always love hearing from other people who have read it. Thank you for your kind words.
That would be great if you don’t mind! My email is Roman.ChristinaA (at) gmail (dot) com
I’m impressed regardless, that was a crowded moving train! And it is funny what a small world it can be sometimes – I’m sure Kundara would agree 🙂 The girl with the feather headdress next to me is my roommate as well!
